Washington Federal Inc. of Seattle plans to buy South Valley Bancorp of Klamath Falls and become Oregon's seventh-largest bank by deposits.

Erickson Air-Crane Trims Initial Stock Offering

Erickson Air-Crane, the maker of heavy-lift helicopters near Central Point, is downsizing their initial public offering from 5-point-4 million shares to 4-point-8 million. The company was expected to begin selling shares today (Wednesday). The shares will reportedly be priced between 8 and 9-dollars a share.
