OSP: Few Fatalities, More DUIIs During Labor Day Weekend

Saturday night, a woman traveling highway 224 crashed her motorcycle into a tree in Clackamas County. Police have identified a suspect in the Sunday night stabbing death of Maria Rodriguez. A man known on the streets as “Pepe”- 45-year old Jose Valencia-Gaona- is still thought to be in the west Medford area. He’s described as a Hispanic male, standing 5’7” and 180 pounds. Medford Police are asking the public to call with any information on Valencia- Gaona.

The group "Oregon 2014 Citizens Initiative" says it's time to amend the Constitution to invalidate a court order that requires taxpayer money to be used for more than four thousand abortion that occur every year in Oregon.Read More »

Resident Fights Off Burglar In Home

A Medford resident successfully fought off an intruder into his South Grape Street home last Wednesday night. The man was watching TV at 11:08 p.m. when he saw a man standing in his kitchen. He confronted the suspect, who tried to get away. Th victim attempted to confront the suspect, and a scuffle ensued, resulting in the breaking of glass, which caused cuts to the victims' bare feet.Read More »

West Nile Virus Detected In Mosquitoes Along Bear Creek
