Wade Eugene Phillips is being charged with murder in the shooting death Tuesday of his wife- 37-year old Cynthia Michelle Phillips. One had to be rescued by firefighters on the first floor of the two and a half story structure housing people recovering from substance abuse at 700 Nobility Drive off of King's Highway. $50,000 damage was done to a home in Hugo as the result of a chimney fire Tuesday night. At 8:45 p.m., a Rural/Metro fire crew arrived at 900 Templin Avenue to find the blaze escaped the chimney and started burning in the attic and wall spaces of the two-story home.
