The two businesses that operate in one location had their business license recently revoked, prompting a closure. An annual study of child well-being shows about 23 percent of Oregon children live in poverty. The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/trb9De ) that's a decline from last year's 23.6 percent poverty rate, but a bit higher than the national average of 22.6 percent.
