A Grants Pass man who was apparently intoxicated and “distress” made his circumstances worse by trying elude police in his pickup truck. Grants Pass police were called to check on 32-year old John Lyman Hall, but he had driven away from 1465 NE 10th Street by the time authorities arrived. Single Vehicle Rollover Kills Shady Cove Man

A 42-year old Shady Cove man died Sunday afternoon in a single vehicle rollover crash near Shady Cove. Michael H. Johnson was a passenger in a Ford Ranger pick-up driven by 43-year old Debra Gibbs. At around 2:45 pm, she apparently lost control of her vehicle while traveling in the 5000 of Rogue River Drive, struck a guardrail and rolled down an embankment into Long Branch Creek.Read More »
