Meals on Wheels Volunteers Needed - Medford Fri 10th April - Sun 10th May The Medford Meals on Wheels program, Food and Friends, is looking for volunteers to help deliver meals to home-bound seniors. Food & Friends provides hot, nutritious meals and a friendly visit to hundreds of seniors in the area. Meals are served Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Mileage reimbursement is available.
Christian Youth in Action - Rogue Valley Thu 16th April - Sat 9th May Send a teen to Christian Youth in Action(C.Y.I.A.). Tuition is $325, and includes room, board and materials. Scottish Author Visits - Ashland Library Tue 5th May Scottish author Catriona McPherson will be visiting the Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., on Tuesday, May 5, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, fresh from the Edgar Awards in New York City. Catriona was born in Scotland and lived there until 2010. A former bank clerk, library worker, and academic, she is the multi-award winning author of the Dandy Gilver detective stories, set in Scotland in 1920.

Silver Ring Thing - Grants Pass & Medford Wed 6th May The Silver Ring Thing is returning to southern Oregon for two back-to-back shows on Wednesday, May 6 at the Grants Pass Performing Arts Center and Friday, May 8 at Central Medford High School. This year's 'No Strings Attached' tour is encouraging students to break ties with the lies of culture. Both shows are free and open to students age 12-19. Volunteers and ring scholarships are needed.

Free Guided Hikes on the Table Rocks Sat 9th May Table Rocks' Weekend Hike Series has begun. Free guided hikes will be offered on weekends in March, April, and May.
