Christian Youth in Action - Rogue Valley Mon 11th May - Fri 5th June Send a teen to Christian Youth in Action(C.Y.I.A.). Tuition is $325, and includes room, board and materials. Meals on Wheels Volunteers Needed - Medford Mon 18th May - Thu 18th June The Medford Meals on Wheels program, Food and Friends, is looking for volunteers to help deliver meals to home-bound seniors. Food & Friends provides hot, nutritious meals and a friendly visit to hundreds of seniors in the area. Meals are served Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Mileage reimbursement is available.
Tuesday Origami Sessions - Medford Library Tue 2nd June The Medford Branch Library Children's Department is having Origami Sessions on the first Tuesday of the month, 5:45 pm. This free hands on demonstration will take place in the Storytime Room in the Children's Department of the Medford Library, 205 S. Central. Stuttering Support Group - First Tuesday of the Month Tue 2nd June

The Speech Center Plus, 1700 E. Barnett Rd. has started a Stuttering Support Group for adults and children that meets on the first Tuesday of every month. At these meetings you will meet other people who stutter, share your experiences, challenges, and successes, practice speaking skills, etc.

Family Tree Maker - PC Users Group Monthly Meet Tue 2nd June The 'PC' Family Tree Maker Group meets the first Tuesday of the month. Everyone is encouraged to bring problems or concerns, and as a group the issue will be addressed and hopefully resolved. Child Abuse Symposium - Medford Thu 4th June - Fri 5th June The Children's Advocacy Center is having its annual Child Abuse Symposium June 4-5 at Inn at the Commons,200 N. Riverside Ave. in Medford. The theme is 'Growing Up After Bad Things: The Developmental Impact of Trauma to Children'. Thursday, June 4, will begin this event at 4:00 pm with a presentation from David Pittman, adult survivor of childhood abuse and founder of 'Together We Heal'.
Book Sale - Gold Hill Library Fri 5th June The Gold Hill Friends of the Library will be having a book sale in conjunction with the Gold Dust Days in the Community Meeting Room of the Gold Hill Branch Library, 202 Dardanelles St. on Friday, June 5, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday, June 6, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Hearts With A Mission Benefit Auction - Ashland Sat 19th September On September 19, Hearts With A Mission will host their 8th annual Homeless 2 Hopeful Benefit Auction at Belle Fiore in Ashland. Individual tickets or table sponsorships can be purchased at www.hearthswithamission.org. There will be heavy horsd'oeuvres, live auction and silent auction. All proceeds support the youth at the shelter.
