The Medford Police Department is notifying the public of a fatal accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian this morning. The accident occurring at the intersection of Stewart Avenue and King Street in Medford.

Authorities have released the names of the people involved in a fatal vehicle and pedestrian accident in the Hugo area. The Oregon State Police says 52-year old Cheryle Anderson was killed when she was run over by a truck driven by 71-year old Richard Rohan at a property at 1503 Three Pines Road. The investigation is continuing. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor.

A 42-year old Shady Cove man died Sunday afternoon in a single vehicle rollover crash near Shady Cove. Michael H. Johnson was a passenger in a Ford Ranger pick-up driven by 43-year old Debra Gibbs. Grants Pass police say a 31-year old pedestrian died early today after he was hit by a vehicle on Redwood Avenue near Kellenbeck Road.
