Suspect Named In Disappearance of Southern Oregon Woman

Authorities have identified a suspect in the disappearance of Stephanie Warner, a southern Oregon woman last seen two years ago at a Fourth of July parade in Ashland.

Detective Eric Henderson of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that investigators believe Warner is dead and the woman's boyfriend at the time, Lennie Ames, knows the location of the remains.

Public safety officials are looking for a Grants Pass man who was reported missing by his wife early this morning. 58-year old Melvin Dean Chanley is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds and has wavy gray hair and brown eyes.

Missing Man Found Deceased Outside Jacksonville

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department reports the body of a deceased man was found Thursday outside of Jacksonville. Authorities received a call of the finding at 12:41 p.m. from the 1035 Road near the 350 Spur Road.

Police in Medford say an 83-year-old man who reportedly left home on Sunday to search for pine cones has been found dead, with his dog still by his side. Lt. Body Of Missing Man Found In Lake County

The body of a man missing more than a month in Lake County has been found.

The State Police say a couple saw one of the man's dogs on Sunday and then found the body of 44-year-old Spencer Kling Giesea.

Authorities in Josephine County are continuing their search for an 89-year old Hispanic man. He is said to have dementia and walked away from an adult foster home Sunday. He is described as being 5-foot-6 in height, 110 pounds, has grey hair and wears a Marine Corps ball cap. You are asked to call 911 if you see him.
