Policeman, Residents Burned In Grants Pass Apartment Fire

Three residents of a Grants Pass  apartment complex on Northeast 8th Street and a police officer were injured in an early Friday morning apartment fire. The names and condition of the victims have not been released. Officer John Lohrfink is being treated for non-life threatening injuries incurred while pulling the victims to safety from the second floor of the apartment complex where the fire occurred. Firefighters were able to quickly douse the fire. The complex sustained minor exterior damage. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
