Death of Table Rock Woman "Suspicious"

Police in Medford are investigating the death of a 31-year-old woman who was found in her apartment in the 2300 block of Table Rock Road.
     According to a police release, the Jackson County Medical
Examiner's Office ruled that Maria Victoria McDonald died of
asphyxiation though the manner of her death is still undetermined.
     McDonald was found Friday night. Police say her death appears to
be suspicious. A neighbor reports a supicious person entering Mc Donald's home around 3 a.m. Saturday morning. On Friday night, yelling could be heard from her residence.
     Detectives from several law enforcement agencies are
investigating.
