New Medford Post Office Opens Tuesday

The new location for the Medford Post Office will open Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. After 40 years at their 8th Street location, they are moving to the former site of Dollar GMC at 325 S. Riverside. Ron Anderson, USPS Spokesman, told the Medford Mail Tribune that the move "makes sense" as much of the 26,000 square feet in the old location is not being utilized. The new location is a 4,800 square foot facility.

 Their doors will close at the old location for the final time at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.  Jackson County bought the building last August for just over $2 million.
