UPDATE: Missing Plane Found, Pilot Deceased

At 3 p.m. this afternoon Civil Air Patrol reported finding a plane crash scene near Plush, Oregon. Authorities confirm the number on the aircraft matched that of the missing plane flown last week by 48-year old Tony Nicholls of Meridian, Idaho. The pilot was discovered deceased.

The discovery concludes several days of searching after Nicholls failed to return home after dropping off two stepsons  Lakeview. He was due back to attend his daughter's high school graduation last weekend.

The airplane was found near Hart Mountain. Investigators are at the scene.
