Ashland Fire: Cause of Benson Way Fire "Undetermined"

The Ashland Fire Department says the cause of the fire at Alchemical Solutions, an organic distillery on Benson Way Friday is undetermined. Division Chief Marguerite Hickman says equipment used in distilling may have been the cause, but more testing would be needed at a forensic laboratory to be more specific.

Private investigators hired by insurance companies will continue their investigation. The damage from the explosion and fire is estimated at a million dollars.
