Car Goes Over Embankment On Galice Road

A woman is being treated for life threatening injuries she sustained in a one car accident this morning in the 7500 block of Galice Road this morning. The vehicle went over the embankment and into the Rogue River.

A male occupant of the vehicle was found walking around the accident scene at the time rescue personnel arrived. He was transported to Three Rivers Hospital. The woman was found lying on the ground 15-feet from the water’s edge. She had been apparently ejected from the vehicle. The woman is in Rogue Valley Medical Center after being transported by helicopter by Mercy Flights.
