Police Seeking Woman Involved In Early Morning Crash

A reforestation crew worker was killed early this morning in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Crater Lake Highway and Highway 99 near the Rogue Valley Mall. The passenger was one of seven in a van struck by a pick-up truck driven by a woman who fled the scene at 3:40 a.m.

Police say she sustained injuries in the crash, and authorities are searching for her. Lt. Mike Budreau from the Medford Police Department say she is likely to seek treatment, and local hospitals will be on the lookout for her.
Two other passengers in the van are hospitalized in serious, but stable condition. One other passenger is in critical condition
