Doctor's Office Manager & Husband Accused Of Illegally Obtaining Pills

A Central Point woman who is office manager for a doctor in Medford has been arrested for allegedly stealing pain pills. Police say 41-year old Jodi Setzer used the doctor’s information to obtain generic Vicodin. Setzer illegally obtained nearly 8-thousand pills over a period of three years. She’s lodged in Jackson County jail on charges of identity theft, aggravated identity theft and tampering with medical records.

Setzer’s husband is also said to be involved.Jason Setzer has been cited on charges of aggravated identity theft.

The doctor for whom Setzer works is not being released by police to prevent further victimization of the practice.
