Hit & Run Driver Indicted For Drunk Driving
Leta Schroeder, the 34-year old woman who allegedly ran a red light last week and crashed into a van near the Rogue Valley Mall has been indicted on a DUII charge. Schroeder is already facing hit and run and manslaughter charges in the July 23rd accident that occurred at 3:40 a.m.
The crash killed a passenger in the van carrying a reforestation crew. 23-year old Efran Vargas-Urena died. Three others were seriously hurt. Schroeder fled the accident scene on foot, but was later apprehended at her White City home.
