Medford School District Celebrates Completion of Education Center & Bond Projects
Today, Medford School District officials held a dedication ceremony to mark the completion of its Education Center at 815 S. Oakdale Ave., adjacent to Central Medford High School. They also celebrated the completion of a 6-year project to modernize district facilities and make them cost effective for the next 20 to 50 years. The Education Center represents that most complete transformation of the group.
District offices from around town consolidated at the location upon the move of South Medford High to their new campus on Cunningham Avenue. It’s estimated that consolidation of district offices will save about $300,000 per year. Funding came from a $189 million bond measure that voters approved in 2006.
