Firefighters Stationed To Protect Homes Near Goff Fire
Reports from the front lines indicate that the Goff Fire has reached containment lines, some within a few hundreds of some structures along the west side of Siead Creek Road and Highway 96 in Seiad Valley.
Firefighters are poised to protect threatened homes.
An evacuation shelter is established at the Siskiyou County Fairgrounds, and the Karuk Tribe has made RV spaces available.
