Quadruplet To Get Psychiatric Help

Andrew Ronda, the 16-year old Medford quadruplet charged with stabbing his brother is headed to a Portland mental health facility- Albertin Kerr- for treatment. A charge of attempted murder was dropped after a review by psychologist and police. He's now dealing with a charge of attempted first-degree assault.

When Andrew turns 18, he will either enter a less-secure facility or Oregon State Hospital after an evaluation. He will remain under supervision until age 25. 

Steve Ronda- Andrew’s father- expressed satisfaction with the ruling by Jackson County Juvenile Services, and he’s hopeful his son will get the help he needs. The elder Ronda tells the Medford Mail Tribune he’s confident “Andrew’s going to do great things.”
