Weather Forecast Creating Concern In Fight Against Goff Fire

Firefighters continue their effort to strengthen hand lines at the Goff Fire. At latest report, the lightning-caused fire that started August 5th has burned 21,625 acres and is 15 percent contained.

New crews arrived Sunday to strengthen northern lines to keep the fire from crossing into Applegate Creek. There is concern that the weather forecast calling for hot, windy dry weather will create further challenges
