ODF Offering Reward For Help With Fire Investigation
The Oregon Department of Forestry wants to find who was responsible for the September 3rd Slate Creek Fire that burned 160 acres of forest land. A reward is being offered for information.
The fire started that afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. in a wooded area southwest of Waters Creek Road, 10 miles south of Grants Pass. Spokesman Brian Ballou says specifically, the fire started along a road called the Root Springs Access Road.
