Arson Suspected in Two Medford Car Fires

Arson is suspected as the cause of two car fires this morning, one in the 400 block of South Peach Street, and the other in the 1400 block of Prune Street in Medford.

The incident on Peach Street occurred at around 2:15 a.m. The fire had full engulfed the vehicle when firefighters arrived. The fire threatened the home, but the fire was quickly put out.

The fire on Prune Street occurred at around 4:20 a.m. The car and a home were damaged, but no one was hurt.

A suspect has not been identified, but police think that the same person is responsible for both fires.
