Over 300 pounds in unused prescription drugs were collected by the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety last Saturday. Drug take back campaigns are performed to keep contaminants out of the water system, and to keep the drugs away from those who do not have a prescription.
A drug take box is kept in the lobby of the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety for those who missed the event. It accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
