Fire At Boise Cascade
There was a fire at the Boise Cascade mill on North Pacific Highway this morning. Fortunately no one was injured.
It started in a wood chip storage bin and affected another. Crews from Jackson County Fire District 3 cooled the bins with water. Later, they were going to empty the bins, spread the chips on the floor and spray them down.
Fire Marshal Hugh Holden says such fires are not unusual, but may never know the cause.
