Revamped Community Health Care Center Open

The newly revamped Medford Community Health Center is now open. A Wednesday ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house celebrated the finished work. The center now features 15 examination rooms, a community conference room labs and counseling rooms. Affordable Care Act funds, a Medford block grant and other grants helped finance the project. Karen Elliott, who is the clinic Marketing Director, says the expansion will enable the health center to serve an additional thousand patients.
