13 motorists were arrested for drunk driving during the Thanksgiving holiday according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s deputies joined with the Oregon State Police and city police departments around southern Oregon in saturation patrols.
A number of other arrests were made and citations issued for other violations. Eight were arrested for driving while suspended, eight were arrested or cited on outstanding warrants, four motorists were found uninsured, five were given speeding tickets, and 16 other traffic violations were spotted.
