Two Rogue River residents were arrested Thursday on charges of burglary, taking a uniform and other military memorabilia from the family of a deceased World War II veteran. A Jackson County Sheriff’s SWAT team searched a home in the 100 block of Earhart Road, and many of the stolen items were recovered. 41-year old Robert Michael Larson and 43-year old Geri Leah Hlavinka were arrested. In addition to the burglary charges, the suspects are also charged for possession of meth, and endangering the welfare of a minor, as children were also living in the home. The suspects sold the uniform at a Grants Pass swap meet shortly after the early October burglary. The buyer, upon hearing of the burglary, returned it to the victims.
