A single car crash near Ashland at the intersection of Eagle Mill Road and Butler Creek Road at 1:37 a.m. sent two of the car’s occupants to the hospital and one to jail. 26-year old Daniel Johnson of Medford, a backseat passenger, suffered extensive injuries. 24-year old Alisha Frazier rode in the front and suffered minor injuries. The accident occurred when a 2004 Toyota Solara struck a pole.
The driver, 26-year old Ryan Andrew Posada of Ashland was driving and left the scene. He was cited for a DUII and hit and run charges, along with reckless driving, reckless endangering and third-degree assault. He’s being held on $50,000 bail.
