Jackson County Sheriff's Office: Deputies Patrol Jurisdictional Schools

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is sending patrol deputies to all county jurisdictional schools. A press release issued by the County Sheriff's Department says "deputies will address safety issues and provide answer to any questions administrators, staff or students." They add that on a periodic basis, the Sheriff's department patrols these same schools. Deputies meet with administration, providing classes when necessary, and building relationships between the school and the Sheriff's Office, prior to emergency event.
