News - Flu Outbreak Impacts Oregon Red Cross - 8 Jan 13
What is now the second worst season for Flu outbreaks in the United States is taking a toll on blood reserves in the Nation. The Red Cross is putting out a plea for all blood types in part because of the outbreak demand that hasn't been seen since the mid 1950's. Christina Dunlap with the American Red Cross says the flu crisis and the depletion from Hurricane Sandy has impacted them.
