Neighboring Medford Homes Catch Fire
The Medford Fire Department responded at just after 4 a.m. today to a fire that had spread from one home to another at 25 and 29 Willamette Avenue. Responding firefighters were alerted by neighbors expressed concern over the possibility of residents trapped in the homes and a search was conducted.
The residents of one home were found to have safely escaped out of the back of the home and other residents were found to be out of town. No one was injured. Deputy Fire Chief Gordon Sletmoe says the fire’s cause remains under investigation.
