Two Medford area transients were arrested for burglary Saturday, after one of the suspects left a bracelet with his name on it at the scene where the thefts occurred. The trouble for 33-year old Ronald Pollack and 20-year old Apache Rose Hightower were observed walking through the Medford Center carrying an electric heater resembling an electric fireplace. An officer stopped the pair, and talked with them. They said the property was given to them, and though the officer was suspicious, he released them. Later, Medford police say that a 52-year old man flagged an officer down, and reported that his Market Street business had been burglarized. The business owner reported that the suspects entered the business and stole two electric heaters. While investigating the scene, police found an ID bracelet with Hightower's name on it. Police quickly found the pair in the 300 block of Howard Avenue, still in possession of the heaters. They were arrested and jailed.
