OSP Troopers Arrest Grants Pass Woman in Menacing Incident

A 37-year old woman was arrested at a home on Schoolhouse Creek Road in Grants Pass as she was allegedly menacing three individuals- including her 15-year old son- with a stun gun and a hammer. Jacqueline Kelly Novack demanded police shoot her when they arrived. Police say they had to employ a taser to subdue Novack. They further note she had outstanding warrants for Failure To Appear, Theft and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. Novack was transported to Jackson County Jail after an evaluation at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
