A suspect has been taken into custody after one person was stabbed and another shot in a small community in Klamath County.
The Herald and News reports that a man stabbed one person and shot another early Friday in Sprague River. Later, shots were fired at a police car.
Tactical weapons teams from Jackson County and the Oregon State Police joined the Klamath County sheriff's office in looking for the gunman. The community was put on lockdown.
State police said a suspect was taken into custody by midmorning.
The stabbing victim was flown by helicopter to a hospital. There was no immediate word on the condition of the shooting victim.
