Four Suspects Arrested For String of Medford Residential Burglaries

Four suspects are in jail, charged with burglarizing a number of homes in the east Medford area over a 4-month period. 22-year old Clayton James Lappat, 22-year old Hayden Andrew Wray, 22-year old Broc Alan Atkinson, and 21-year old Cameron Jordan Gentry all reportedly admitted guilt to burglarizing 7 homes, committing 8 felony thefts and stealing a car. Unfortunately, authorities were only able to recover a little of the stolen property. The first of the burglaries occurred February 15th in the 1500 block of Ridge Way. $1,000 worth of coins, jewelry and computer equipment were stolen. A burglary occurred March 4th in the 2900 block of Shasta Way. $3,500 worth of jewelry was taken in a daytime theft. Three days later, a handgun was taken from a vehicle in the same neighborhood. On March 31st, Wray and Lappat burglarized three homes in the 6300 block of Hillcrest Road, another in the 4700 block of Cloudcrest Drive, and the first block of South Barneburg. A 2006 BMW was also stolen and crashed. On April 25th, Lappat is accused of breaking into a residence in the 2400 block of Herrington Way. Two shotguns were reportedly taken from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Dragon Trail Place on May 6th by Lappat and Atkinson.
