Arrest Made In RV Burglaries Case, Another Suspect Sought

An arrest has made as Medford Police invetigate the recent rash of thefts from recreational vehicles parked inside local storage facilities. Michael Todd Diehl, 33, of Medford faces burglary, theft and felon in possession of a firearm charges. Tuesday, police executed a search warrant of Diehl's property in the 900 block of Niantic Avenue in Medford. He was living in a 26-foot trailer that had been reported stolen on May 28th from the 3600 block of Aviation Way. Detectives say they also found a stolen Bushmaster M4 rifle that had been reported stolen from a trailer stored at "Lock 'n' Key" storage on Coker Butte Drive. Thefts were also reported at Mini Storage Warehouse, South Medford Mini Storage- all of Medford, and Storage Emporium in Central Point. Diehl admitted to his involvement in the break-ins, and was taken to the Jackson County Jail. Police are working on the recovery of further stolen items and are looking for a second suspect. 22-year old Brandon Glen Bigham is being sought by police. He has outstanding warrants for possession of meth, delivery of marijuana, and providing false information to an officer.
