Oregons' Version of Obamacare will not start on time and that has one Congressman concerned. Congressman Greg Walden held a forum with hospital staff at Providence Medical Center in Medford to get input on how the President's health care plan will impact them. The meeting came the same day it was announced that Oregon's companion plan called 'Cover Oregon' would not launch on time and faces a 16-million dollar shortfall. That concerns Walden as well as the requirement for additional doctors who might not be available to assist the elderly in the plan.
Waled says with the delay in implementing Obamacare and now what appears to be the budget shortfall and delay in signing up for 'Cover Oregon' that health care in the state is now a 'Train Wreck'.
