More Northwest Residents Making Labor Day Travel Plans

By Jim McCoy Tue 20th August NewsAAAtravel
More northwest residents will be taking to the road Labor Day weekend. A survey by AAA/Oregon reveals a five percent increase in travelers heading out over the final holiday of the summer. The reason? A more positive outlook on the economy. Over 10 percent of the northwest’s population will be leaving home Labor Day weekend. Other findings reveal more people traveling by car, unhindered by gas prices. Even though air fare is up, more air travelers are expected.
