A pedestrian hit by a vehicle on South Pacific Highway this morning in Medford is hospitalized with serious injuries- numerous broken bones, and head injuries. The 63-year old man was walking in the roadway near South Stage Road at 5:52 a.m when he was struck by a car- a 1998 Toyota- driven by a 31-year old male.
When rescuers arrived, they found the victim pinned beneath the car. The “jaws of life” was used to remove the car. The case is under investigation.
