Inmates Briefly Sieze Control of Youth Prison In Southern Oregon

Inmates briefly took over of a portion of a youth prison in Southern Oregon. The Grants Pass Daily Courier (http://bit.ly/19vEFPS ) reports that guards backed out of a quadrant of the Oregon Youth Authority prison in Grants Pass on Sunday night and locked the inmates inside after some became unruly. Superintendent Ken Jerin says it took about five hours to control the situation, and there were no injuries. He adds things were back to normal Monday morning.
