A Trail man suffered serious wounds to his face when his brother allegedly fired a 12-gauge shotgun into his trailer. The incident occurred Sunday night on the west branch of Elk Creek Road. The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says alcohol contributed to the conflict between 36-year Michael Chrisco and his brother Joshua. The younger brother is in custody, facing charges of First and Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangering, Unlawful Possession of a Short-Barreled Firearm, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Bail for Joshua Chrisco is set at more than $2-million. Details on the matter are unclear as neither party is cooperating with investigators.
