16-Year Old Arrested In Grants Pass Carjacking

By Jim McCoy Thu 7th November Newscarjacking
Authorities in Grants Pass, Ore., say a 16-year-old boy has been arrested in the gunpoint carjacking of a 2002 BMW that happened three weeks ago. Grants Pass police say the teen was arrested Tuesday night after the stolen vehicle crashed. Detective Sgt. Dan Evans says police believe the boy is the "masked male" who pulled a gun on a woman and her daughter on the evening of Oct. 16 and demanded the keys to their car. Neither the woman nor her daughter was hurt. The boy was arrested for investigation of first-degree robbery, vehicle theft and pointing a gun at another person.
