A morning fire has destroyed an Eagle Point barn.
The Mail Tribune newspaper reports (http://is.gd/7c5hCQ ) that crews arrived shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday to find a fully engulfed structure, and focused on preventing the fire's spread to nearby wildland.
No injuries have been reported. A damage estimate and cause of the fire were not available.
Four engines and two water tenders joined firefighters. There are no available fire hydrants available in the remote area of southern Oregon, necessitating the use of the tenders.
