A motorcycle rider was arrested Saturday in Jackson County after police caught him riding his Suzuki at over 100 miles per hour. 21-year old Patrick Whalen Parks of El Sobrante, Ca. is charged with reckless driving, driving while suspended, and driving uninsured.
At 1:30 p.m., Parks was headed south on Interstate 5 when a radar gun clocked him riding at high speeds on a stretch of freeway near Valley of the Rogue Park. Due to heavy traffic, catching up to Parks was difficult as he weaved his way through traffic, but he was stopped just south of Gold Hill near milepost 38.
