Alleged Car Thief Arrested In Grants Pass

Anthony Michael Donlan- a 38-year old homeless man- is lodged in Josephine county jail after he allegedly stole a car from a Medford dealership and then tried to elude police. Grants Pass police were notified just after midnight that a 2013 Chevy Camaro was stolen by a wanted felon from Airport Chevrolet and was seen parked in the 19-hundred block of Regina Way. When police approached the car, Donlan drove off. During the coure of the pursuit, spike strips were deployed, flattening three tires. The chase continued until Donlan struck a sign at the entrance to Albertson’s on Redwood Highway. The suspect surrendered as a K-9 officer approached him.
