Arrest Made In Medford Arson Case

The Medford Police Department has in custody a man they say is responsible for a string of fires set to vacant homes. 38-year old Manoah Martin Hall is in Jackson County Jail on $2.5 million bail. Starting in the summer of 2011, 21 suspicious fires had been set to homes in the Medford area- including residences on Orchard Home Drive, Maple Park Drive, W. 11th Street, W. 4th Street, South Peach Street, Stewart Avenue, Thomas Road, Edgemont Street, West Jackson, Main Street, Columbus Avenue Prune Street, and Ross Lane. Damage to the homes total over $500-thousand. Hall has a criminal record dating back to 2006. He was arrested Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. on arson charges, criminal mischief and charges related to the possession and deliver of meth.
