Cave Junction Mill To Re-open This Summer

- The Rough and Ready Lumber mill that shut down last year in the Josephine County town of Cave Junction plans to reopen this summer. The Daily Courier reports (http://bit.ly/O1k4jU ) a $1 million Business Oregon loan and $4 million in state and federal tax credits will pay for upgrades and automation. The mill will employ 66 people. It had 88 workers when it shut down. Rough and Ready produces pine doors and windows as well as lumber.
