Woman Rescued From Her Car On Old Highway 99

Jackson County Fire District 5, Ashland Fire and Rescue, Mercy Flights, ODOT and the Oregon State Police worked together to pull a 71-year old woman to safety today after her car rolled down a steep hillside on Old Highway 99. There are presently no reports concerning the woman's condition or what happened. An ODOT worker saw the car this morning 100 yards down a steep ravine filled with trees and brush. The car was cold, leading officials to believe the car had been there for some time.
