MADGE Arrests Suspected Meth Dealer

The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement (MADGE) is announcing the arrest of a suspected meth dealer living in the 900 block of Alba Drive. 59-year old Samuel Johnson is lodged in Jackson County Jail with bail set at $1,015,000. The arrest caps off a month-long investigation. A search of Johnson's residence turned up a half-ounce of methamphetamine, a handgun, $700 cash, baggies and scales- all indicative of drug dealing. Johnson faces charges of unlawlfu manufacture, possession and distribution of a controlled substance, plus felon in possession of a weapon charge.
